Internal Listing Statuses: What They Mean
Internal Listing Statuses: What They Mean
Updated over a week ago

1. Not Started:

What It Means: We have received your listing, but we haven’t started inputting it into the MLS yet. We do not begin processing listings until payment and the MLS agreement have been received.

Action: If your listing is in this status, it’s important to ensure that payment and the agreement are completed. We will send you a text notification if either of these is missing, along with links to complete the necessary steps.

2. In Process:

What It Means: Your listing has been received, and we have begun the input process. Typically, your listing will be live within 24 hours from this stage.

Action: No action is needed from you at this time, if we need anything we will reach out by text.

3. Compliance Review:

What It Means: Your listing is fully input into the MLS, and we are conducting a compliance check to ensure all details match your online submission. Listings in this stage are usually live on the MLS within 1-2 hours, provided all details are correct.

Action: No action is needed unless we contact you for additional information.

Timeline: From Submission to MLS Live

1. Day 1: Submission and Initial Review

Step 1: After you submit your listing, we review it to confirm payment has been made and the MLS agreement is signed. This review typically occurs the same day the listing is submitted.

Missing Details: If payment or the agreement is missing, we will text you a reminder, including links to complete these steps.

2. Day 1 or 2: Moving to “In Process”

Step 2: Once payment and the agreement are received, your listing moves from “Not Started” to “In Process.” This transition typically occurs within 24 hours of receiving the required documents. For example, if you submit your listing at 12 PM and complete the payment and agreement the same day, your listing may move to “In Process” the same day.

3. Day 2: Compliance Review and Going Live

Step 3: Your listing enters the “Compliance Review” stage. At this point, you can expect your listing to go live on the MLS within 1-2 hours, provided all details are accurate and complete.

Conclusion:

Understanding these internal statuses and timelines helps you stay informed about where your listing is in the process and what to expect next. Our goal is to make the listing process as smooth and transparent as possible. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us.
