Introduction:
This article provides a detailed explanation of how our process works, from submission to the moment your property goes live.
Step 1: Submission and Payment
The first step in getting your property listed on the MLS is submitting your listing information. However, it’s important to note that we do not begin processing your listing until payment is made and the MLS agreement is signed.
• Payment and Agreement: If you submit your listing on a Monday but don’t complete the payment and sign the agreement until Wednesday, we will not start working on your listing until Wednesday. This means your listing won't be live on the MLS until Thursday or Friday.
• Reminders: If you forget to pay or sign the agreement, we typically send a reminder text after 24-48 hours. This helps keep the process on track.
Step 2: Processing Your Listing
Once we receive your payment and signed agreement, we immediately start processing your listing.
• Notification: You will receive a text message letting you know that your listing is in process. This keeps you informed every step of the way.
• Compliance Review: After the initial processing, your listing moves to a compliance review. At this stage, your listing is being carefully reviewed to ensure the MLS matches your online listing information. You will receive another text message when your listing enters this stage.
• Timeframe: Once your listing is in compliance review, it is typically ready to go live within 2 hours. If any information is missing, we will text you promptly to resolve the issue.
Step 3: Listing Goes Live
After your listing goes through a compliance review, it will go live on the MLS.
• Notification: You will receive both a text message and an email with a link to your live MLS listing. This final step confirms that your property is officially listed and available for viewing by potential buyers.
Important Notes:
• 48-Hour Timeline: The 48-hour timeline starts from the moment we receive your payment and signed MLS agreement, not from the time you initially submit your listing information.
• No Sunday Listings: We do not make listings live on Sundays. Listings submitted on Fridays may not go live until Monday.
• Same Day Listing Option: If you need your listing live the same day, we offer a SAME DAY LISTING service for an extra $39. This option can be selected at checkout.
How to View Your Listing:
Once your property is live, you can view your listing by viewing the MLS link we text and email you. To view your listing on our website, follow instructions below:
1. Navigate to the “Properties” tab.
2. Click on the link with your property address to view your MLS listing.
Once you click on the link, you are able to view your entire listing! Don't forget to use your public link to share your listing with your friends on Facebook, email, Twitter, etc.
