Do I Have to Sign a Buyer Brokerage Agreement with You?
Updated over 3 months ago

When using our Flat Fee Buyer Services, you may wonder if you need to sign an agreement with us. The answer is yes, but it’s not as daunting as it might sound. Signing an agreement is a standard practice in real estate transactions and helps clarify the roles, responsibilities, and expectations for both you and your dedicated agent.

How Long Does the Agreement Last?

We offer two different levels of service, each with its own agreement duration:

1. Ready to Offer Service: If you’ve already found a property, we’ll sign a 10-day representation agreement. This short-term agreement gives us enough time to write an offer and negotiate the best terms on your behalf.

2. Home Tours + Offers Service: If you need assistance in viewing properties, including those we have listed or certain properties you can view without our presence, this service requires a 90-day agreement. This duration allows us to provide comprehensive support from home tours to closing the deal.

Why Is an Agreement Necessary?

The agreement serves as a mutual understanding between you and your agent, outlining the scope of services we will provide. It ensures that you have a clear picture of what to expect from our Flat Fee Buyer Services, including the support you’ll receive from your dedicated agent and their assistant from the initial consultation all the way to closing.

What Does the Agreement Cover?

Our agreement typically covers the following:

Services Provided: A detailed explanation of the services included in our Flat Fee Buyer Services, such as offer preparation, contract management, inspection coordination, and more.

Fees: The flat fee you will be charged, which is significantly lower than traditional real estate commissions, and how this fee will be handled during the transaction.

Duration: The time period during which the agreement is in effect.

Responsibilities: The responsibilities of both you as the buyer and us as your agent.
